After graduating in 2012 with Photography, followed by a qualification in Advertising & PR, I ran studio work on a pop up basis, starting with Christmas shoots, adding in family shoots & even venturing into themes, then lockdown stopped me in my tracks. Before starting to build back up we found out about baby number 2 and baby number 1 was diagnosed with JDM. With so much to navigate, the business went on the back burner with a promise (to myself) to return bigger. So in 2024 LochElm Studio was opened.

One year in and the Studio is now a finalist in the Fife division of Scotlands Business Awards and providing a full range of services from Cake Smashes to Business Headshots, Empowerment Shoots to Family Chaos.

 

As a Mother, Wife, Daughter & Friend I have the experience to spot that bit of toothpaste still on your wee ones cheek, know to ask for your partners flicked up collar to be fixed so it's not an argument when you leave,  the prompts that will get an eye roll compared to the ones with those cute smiles no matter what age, and the ability to pick out the friend that wont take offence.

I love the outdoors, have a few Munro's under my belt, like a wee gym session (got to lift those backdrops somehow), enjoying playing the fiddle, family time and of course, despite it's cheesiness - photography.
